Do you have chairs, sofas and tables that I see or sit on?

Yes, even though we are boutique in size we stock multiple quality brands and keep our showroom fresh with new items coming in frequently.

Can you compete with furniture stores and on-line merchants?

Yes – All day, every day. We keep our overhead low and our prices are always discounted. We also spot check the market to insure our competitiveness.

Where do you get your products from?

We have long-term relationships directly with manufactures and we’re proud that a large percentage of them are in the USA. We meet with them at the International Furniture Market and their representatives also call on our locations. We have accounts with 400 plus vendors, far more than a typical furniture/design company.

What is the difference between a decorator and designer?

In short, a designer can do decorating but a decorator can’t do what a designer is able. A decorator is frequently just a personal shopper but a designer is trained professional with in-depth industry knowledge and broad-based experience.

Can you design around existing items?

Absolutely, injecting items from collectables, travels and family heirlooms help personalize a space.

How do you quote projects?

We provide an itemized brake down by room. We require a 50% deposit before products can be ordered and balance when products are delivered to the client.

At what stage of a project should I bring in a designer?

The sooner the better. We may be able to help locate contractors, or serve as a second set of eyes so nothing is over looked. We do our best to get client into the schedule and proposals reviewed quickly but that process could last a few weeks and afterwards there are product lead-times that could take several months to receive and deliver.

How are you different from other designers?

We don’t require large retainers or have minimum budgets for clients. We also work as a team which makes us highly efficient. Haven designers don’t have sales quotas. We are onsite for the finial delivery to insure everything is placed as planned. We believe quality products and timeless designs provide the best value.

What is your style of design?

Our style is a reflection of the client’s vision. The sources we have allow us to develop a range of styles and price points.

How do you make your money?

Similar to a furniture store we make a profit from the product we sell. In areas like kitchens and bathrooms where we’re consulting, we bill hourly.
