Something eclectic and transitional; that’s my favorite style. While both of these terms feel a bit overused these days, they are appropriate. Most people come into a design project with some history, some items they have purchased, collected or inherited over the years. It’s important that these items be woven into the overall design objective, making each person’s home not only beautiful but personal; truly a reflection of who they are. And in a transitional space, there is room for a bit of the classic, along side a bit of the contemporary. I feel that a melding of styles delivers a home that is not only visually interesting, but ultimately more timeless.
